Aiming to produce personnel who will contribute to disaster prevention and mitigation not only in Japan but also the world

Recovery and revitalization following the January 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake is still ongoing. Under such circumstances, it is urgent to train personnel who can contribute to recovery and revitalization in cooperation with the local government, while supporting disaster-stricken areas.

Furthermore, considering the challenges faced by disaster-stricken areas globally and in Japan, where natural disasters occur frequently, it is increasingly important to continuously produce individuals globally and in Japan who possess a correct understanding of natural disasters based on their academic achievements in their specialized fields, and who can respond to disaster prevention and mitigation through their own sound judgment.
